Does it cost anything to find a trainer?

No. Browsing profiles, messaging trainers and booking sessions are free for clients, and always will be. Trainers pay to list themselves; you never pay Spotterz. What you pay your trainer for their sessions is agreed directly between the two of you.

How do I know a trainer is actually qualified?

Every profile shows the certifications a trainer has listed, how long they have been coaching, and their specialisations. Trainers who submit their certificates for review and pass get a Verified badge on their profile. If a trainer has no badge, it means we have not reviewed their documents — not that they are unqualified, so read the profile and ask questions.

What happens after I book a session?

Your booking goes to the trainer to confirm, and you can message them directly in the app to sort out timing and location. Once you are working together, your trainer can assign workout and diet plans, and you can log your progress so both of you can see how it is going.

Can I train online instead of in person?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Trainers indicate whether they coach in person, online, or both, and you can filter for it. Online trainers work with you over chat and video, and use the same plans and progress tracking as in-person clients.

What if I do not know which trainer I want?

You can post what you are looking for — your goal, your city, your budget — and let trainers come to you. Trainers on the platform can see open requests and reach out if they are a fit.

What does it cost to list myself?

₹699 a month, after a 30-day free trial. There is no commission on what you earn, no cut of your session fees, and no charge to your clients. You keep everything you bill them.

What do I actually get for that?

A public profile that clients can find and book, unlimited clients, direct chat, a workout plan builder, a diet plan builder, progress tracking for every client, and access to open client requests. There is no client cap and no upgrade tier — every trainer gets the same tools.

How does the free trial work?

You get 30 days with everything unlocked, no card required up front. At the end of the trial you pay to keep your listing live. If you decide it is not for you, do nothing and the listing simply comes down.

How do I get verified?

Upload your certification documents from your profile and we review them by hand. If they check out, the Verified badge appears on your public profile. We check certification documents only — we do not run identity or background checks, and we do not claim to.

What happens if my payment lapses?

Your listing stays live for 5 days after a missed payment so a delay does not cost you clients. After that the listing comes down and your account is limited until you pay — your client data, plans and chat history are kept, not deleted.

How do trainers pay for their listing?

Accepted Answer

Through Razorpay, using UPI, cards or net banking. Each payment covers one month and is charged manually — there is no auto-renew and nothing is silently debited. We will remind you when your month is nearly up.

Does Spotterz handle payments between clients and trainers?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Right now you settle session fees directly with your trainer, however the two of you prefer. We only charge trainers for their listing. In-app payments are on the roadmap, and we would rather ship it properly than half-build an escrow you cannot rely on.

What do you do with my data?

Accepted Answer

We collect what the product needs to work and nothing we cannot justify. Your chat history and progress logs are visible to you and the trainer you are working with — not to other trainers, and not sold to anyone. The privacy policy sets out the specifics.
